Park

The large park surrounding the Château was designed in the 19the century in the old English landscape style, including lawns, ponds and views. The view is dominated by a wide variety of trees, some of them over a century old. The driveway of the premises is bordered with old chestnut trees, which show their magnificence in spring. The lilac trees in the garden are the first to spread their blossom smell in spring, followed by the lime trees and the roses.

Large conifers colour the winter garden. A nearby well feeds the brooklet, ‘le ruisseau de Montgazon’, the waterfall in the cave and the pond.

The presence of an old dove tower in the orchard (now housing church owls), creates a special atmosphere. At night, you may become aware of their presence. More special animals can be found, as there are the tree frog and the kingfisher. Other common animals are lizards, squares, deers and foxes.

Lying in the swimming pool, one has a splendid view of the tower, which is situated in the fortified area of the park. Next to the swimming pool and the sun terrace, there is a pool house.

All guests have free access to the park.
